Journal of Muslim Societies and Islamic Education (MUSIED) is an international journal published by Laksita Indonesia. It specializes in Indonesian Muslim Societies and Islamic Education in particular, and Global Muslim Societies and Islamic Education in general, and is intended to communicate original research and current issues on the subject. This journal warmly welcomes contributions from scholars of related disciplines. The language used in this journal is English. The articles of this journal are published every six months (2 issues per year) June and December.

This journal is an open access journal which means that all content is freely available without charge to the user or his/her institution. Users are allowed to read, download, copy, distribute, print, search, or link to the full texts of the articles, or use them for any other lawful purpose, without asking prior permission from the publisher or the author. This is in accordance with the BOAI definition of open access.

Journal of Muslim Societies and Islamic Education will be indexed by Crossref. Therefore, all articles will have unique DOI number.

The Journal managers invite scientists, scholars, professionals, and researchers in Islamic scholarship disciplines to publish their research results after the selection mechanism of the manuscript, the review of peer reviewers, and the editing process. Journal of Muslim Societie and Islamic Education is published in June and December each year.
